Yuval Cohen

Founder & Managing Partner at StageOne Ventures

Yuval Cohen is the founder and managing partner of StageOne Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage, transformative deep tech startups.

Cohen has over two decades of experience in the venture capital and technology industries. Yuval began their career as a board member of BIScience, a technology incubator, before joining Oversi Networks and Traffix Systems as a board member.

In 2006, Cohen became a general partner at Israel Infinity Fund, where they were in charge of the communications sector. During their time at Israel Infinity Fund, Cohen helped invest in and grow several businesses, including cVidya, a provider of big data and analytics solutions for the telecommunications industry.

In 2015, Cohen left Israel Infinity Fund to co-found Capitalise.ai, a startup that uses artificial intelligence to help businesses automate their financial processes. Cohen served as director of Capitalise.ai until 2019, when they left to launch StageOne Ventures.

StageOne Ventures is focused on investing in enterprise-focused deep tech startups that are solving large challenges. The firm has invested in companies in a variety of domains, including cloud computing, storage, data center infrastructure, and connected devices.

Yuval Cohen studied at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they received their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and MBA. Yuval then went on to work in the field of corporate, finance, and securities law.
