Willem Jan Soer

Willem Jan Soer is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as Manager of Open Innovation at Stahl since April 2021. In this role, Willem Jan Soer is dedicated to exploring and integrating new technologies and sustainable raw materials into Stahl's offerings, collaborating with external partners within the open innovation R&D team. Prior to this position, Willem Jan Soer worked at DSM from February 2008 to March 2021 as both Scientist and Project Manager, focusing on the development of acrylic waterborne resins and leading projects related to biobased resins within the DSM DECOVERY® portfolio. Educationally, Willem Jan Soer holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente.
