Alex Parlato is a software developer, designer, and painter located in Baltimore, MD. He stumbled into the world of maps (maybe due to a lack of one) in 2016 and has been working with them ever since.He has an undergraduate degree in graphic design from the Maryland Institute College of Art which he cannot find. Outside of his work with Stamen, Alex teaches part time at a university and maintains a fine art painting practice.
