Ben Wade

Ben Wade is the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Marketing at Stamford Health. Ben has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including positions at Montefiore Health System, where they served as the Assistant Vice President of Strategic Planning, and Stamford Health.

During their time at Montefiore, Ben led a number of initiatives aimed at improving care while also reducing costs. Ben was instrumental in building a network of over 500 partners across the care continuum in 7 counties, which resulted in the top scoring application and award valued at over $250 million. Ben also oversaw the planning for a network of vital access hospitals and helped to cut operating losses by over $150 million. In addition, they spearhead a $200 million ambulatory access point development plan that included urgent and retail care, telemedicine, and multispecialty centers.

At Stamford Health, Ben has continued their work to improve the healthcare system. Ben has established regional cancer, transplant, and maternal/fetal strategic plans across academic medical center and community hospitals in concert with clinical and operational leaders. Ben has also coordinated system-wide provider engagement efforts designed to increase profitable clinical activity and expand Stamford Health’s value-based network. In addition, they have crafted a strategy to evaluate, leverage, and nurture promising ventures within and outside Stamford Health to spark innovation and provide alternative revenue streams.

Ben Wade has a MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School and a BA with Honors from Dartmouth College in Religion.
