Derek Cheng

Derek Cheng is an experienced neurologist and epileptologist currently serving as the medical director of the neurophysiology lab at Stamford Health since August 2018. Prior to this role, Derek Cheng completed an epilepsy and neurophysiology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine from June 2017 to 2018 and served as a resident physician in neurology at North Shore-LIJ Health System from June 2014 to 2017. Derek Cheng began medical training as a resident at Griffin Hospital from June 2013 to June 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Michigan.
