Brydon Parker

Brydon Parker is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Founding Data Scientist at Stan since July 2022, Brydon has significantly impacted the company by developing AI solutions, fraud detection models, and data infrastructure. Prior to this, Brydon held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Shopify, leading data science initiatives for the Growth Org and participating in the launch of the Shopify Starter Plan. Previous roles include founding TorCrime, leading a small team at SR ai to develop advanced NLP models, and serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Deloitte Canada, where Brydon managed demand forecasting projects and supervised data science teams. Academic contributions include teaching positions at Queen's University and the University of Toronto. Brydon holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, specializing in mathematical applications in economics and finance.
