Brian Clark is the Senior Director, Solutions & Client Engagement at STAND 8 Technology Services. Prior to joining STAND 8, Brian served as the CIO Workplace Solutions at MassMutual from February 2019 to October 2021. In this role, Brian led a large-scale Workplace Optimization (WPO) program to consolidate three retirement services systems to one. The AWS, service-based solution included loosely coupled, scalable, components for core recordkeeping, event processing (Java & Kafka) and a business rules engine, with enhanced customer experience portals (React), RESTful APIs & microservices (swagger & Java), a data lake for servicing portals and operational reporting (Talend, Dynamo DB & Aurora), infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD (JSON). The team delivered multiple milestones, including the implementation of the WPO framework, the core retirement services system, new workflow and finance solutions, IVR and the B2B portals.

In addition to their work at MassMutual, Brian also represented Global IT in sale of the retirement business to Empower, leading a cross organizational team to define the transaction service agreement line items within four months and executing multiple initiatives to mitigate risks to closing at year end 2020, cost avoiding $100M in charges.

Currently, Brian is leading a team of 311 people through 8 supervisors with an annual budget of $152M.

Brian Clark has a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and Services from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate's degree in Construction Technology from Farmingdale State College.

Brian Clark reports to Quinn Fillmon, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Carlos Herrera - VP, Enterprise Solutions, Rich Lucas - Director, Data Science & Advanced Analytics, and Ken Mizell - VP, Enterprise Solutions.
