Stephen Sobczak is a seasoned strategic planner and performance coach with extensive experience in leadership roles across military and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as a Strategic Planner and Performance Coach at the United States Department of the Navy since May 2022, Stephen also contributes as a Leadership and Executive Coach at Stand Beside Them, Inc., where the focus is on assisting veterans and their spouses/caregivers with career transitions. Previous roles include Senior Planner for the United States Air Force and various leadership positions at Vetstarts.com and Health Command. With over 28 years of experience in the US Army, culminating as Director of Health Care Operations, Stephen brings a wealth of strategic planning and operational policy development expertise. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science from The Citadel and a Master's degree in Organizational and Human Resource Development from Webster University, alongside specialized training in Spiritual Direction.
