Deshnie Naicker

Deshnie Naicker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic management, reporting, and financial planning within the banking and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Strategy, Investments, and Acquisitions at Standard Bank Group since April 2016, Deshnie provides strategic guidance for investments and leads key management functions. Previous roles include Head of Reporting at Standard Bank Group, where Deshnie chaired key committees and championed change management initiatives, and Head of MI & Analytics at Barclays Wealth Management. Deshnie's career began as a Financial Planner at SABMiller, following an academic background that includes an MBA and multiple management qualifications from the Australian Institute of Business, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
