Douglas Pindula

Douglas Pindula is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Line of Business Lead at Standard Bank Group since May 2016, Douglas focuses on redefining business strategies within Private and Personal Banking, overseeing client experience, profitability, operations, product development, and risk management. Additionally, as the Head of Unayo, Douglas is dedicated to establishing a new business aimed at delivering financial and digital inclusion. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Cash Management, Head of Change and Enablement, and Senior Project and Programme Manager within Standard Bank. Prior to this, Douglas worked at CEDSIF as a consultant on governance and quality management, and held various engineering roles focusing on software development in public finance and banking systems. Douglas holds an MBA in Project Management from Instituto Superior de Gestão and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane.
