Marienne Burger

Marienne Burger is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience at Standard Bank Group since January 2004, currently serving as COO of Group Procurement and previously as CEO of Standard Bank Insurance Brokers and CFO for various divisions including Standard Bank Insurance and Personal and Corporate Wealth. Additional roles include Head of Finance for Group Information Technology and Group Enabling Function, overseeing end-to-end finance support. Marienne holds an MCom in Taxation, Accounting and Finance as well as a BCom in Financial Management from the University of Pretoria, and completed a course in Finance into the Future at London Business School. Marienne also has teaching experience in Taxation and Accounting as a lecturer at the University of Pretoria from 1999 to 2000.
