Thembelihle Mafuya

Thembelihle Mafuya possesses extensive experience in finance and banking, having worked at Standard Bank Group from December 2009 to March 2025, with roles including Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for Personal and Private Banking SA and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Personal and Private Banking. Prior to this, Mafuya held finance management positions at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd and PKF Durban, where responsibilities included managing audits and financial operations. Educational qualifications include an International Executive Development Programme in Retail Banking from Wits Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance from the University of KZN.
