Eugene Klerk

Eugene Klerk is a seasoned professional in the field of research and investment analysis, currently serving as the Head of Research ESG at Standard Chartered Bank since April 2023. Prior to this role, Eugene spent nearly 13 years at Credit Suisse, where positions included Global Head of ESG Research and Managing Director in the Global Sustainable Thematic Research Team. Eugene's earlier experience includes serving as CIO/Partner at Volteq Capital, Head of EMEA Research at Credit Suisse First Boston, and EMEA Research Analyst at ABN AMRO. Eugene holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Twente, complemented by a foundational year in Applied Physics from the same institution. Throughout the career, Eugene has earned numerous accolades, including top rankings as a telecom analyst.
