Joerg Bayer

Joerg Bayer, CFA, is the Head of Fixed Income & ESG Research at Raiffeisen Bank International AG since September 2016, bringing unique expertise in CEE/AT sovereign, banking, and corporate fixed income products. Bayer has a strong focus on both regional and client needs, along with an in-depth knowledge of ESG products in core markets, serving as a crucial link between CEE fixed income markets and global investors. Prior roles include Head of Credit Research at Barclays Investment Bank and Fixed Income Analyst at Raiffeisen Bank. Bayer also has extensive experience as a Credit Risk Analyst at Moore Stephens and auditor and consultant at Blum. Educational qualifications include a CFA from the CFA Institute, a Management Diplom from the Management School St.Gallen, and dual Magister degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Universität Innsbruck.
