Mustafa Jaffar

Mustafa Jaffar serves as the Global Head of Talent, Learning, and Resourcing and the Global Head of HR for Wealth and Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Bank since March 2016. Prior to this role, Mustafa held the position of HR Director for Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management, working in various locations including Singapore, Mumbai, and London from 2006 to 2016. Previous experience includes a senior consultant role at IBM and an associate position at JPMorgan Chase. Educational credentials include a degree in People Culture & Performance from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, as well as several INSEAD programmes related to wealth management and private banking, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics from UCL.
