Prakash Gopi

Prakash Gopi is an experienced professional in financial markets operations, currently serving as Vice President of FXMM Operations (Asia Pacific) and Head of Derivatives Settlements at Standard Chartered Bank since June 2010. In this role, Prakash manages global derivatives settlements teams across hubs in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Chennai, supporting over 15 countries within the bank's footprint. Additionally, Prakash oversees the ASEAN treasury operations teams focusing on FX MM and derivative products. Prior to this, Prakash held positions at Deutsche Bank as Associate Manager for Global Market Operations, managing FX MM operations in Malaysia, and at HSBC Data Processing Malaysia as Assistant Manager Operations, where responsibilities included handling UK clients' credit financial products and assessing customer risk through the BASEL 2 framework.
