Louis Butler is an experienced professional with a diverse background in software engineering and press operations. Currently serving as a Level 2 Pressman at Standard-Examiner since September 2022, Louis has previously held senior software engineering roles at Polycom and Iomega, where responsibilities included developing code in various programming languages and leading engineering teams. Additional experience includes contributions to the SiteServer project at Meridian Partners, Ltd. while on contract with Microsoft, as well as initial work in tech support at Clark Development. Louis holds a Game Design degree from CG Spectrum, a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and an Associate's degree in Fine/Studio Arts from Trinity Valley Community College.
