Ethan Finkel

Ethan Finkel is the current Data Operations Lead at Standard Metrics. Prior to this, they were with Standard Metrics for 1 year and 8 months in various data operations roles. Ethan also spent 6 months as a Venture Fellow at 8VC. Additionally, they have experience as a tutor, spending 1 year and 4 months tutoring UW athletes in Accounting, Finance, and Economics on behalf of the UW athletics department. Before that, they spent 3 months as a Business Unit Finance at Amazon, where they automated finance workflows. Ethan also spent 1 year and 2 months as a System Analyst at Lynden Incorporated, where they built graphs and data pipelines for a shipping firm. In addition, they spent 11 months as the Head of Projects and Education (Seattle Campus) at Blockchain Society at University of Washington, where they led club meetings and met with local Seattle crypto companies and VCs. Finally, they spent 3 months as a Director's Assistant at Blessedly Silent Films, where they wore many hats as a PA, 2nd 2nd AD, 3rd AC, Coffee Boy, and Chauffeur.

Ethan Finkel attended the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business from 2017 to 2021, where they concentrated in finance and information systems. Ethan also attended Crossroads School for the Arts and Science from 2004 to 2017. In addition, they hold a Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate from Bloomberg LP.
