John Melas-Kyriazi

John Melas-Kyriazi is the Co-Founder & CEO at Standard Metrics. Prior to this, they were with Clipboard Health, MK Investments, Wildtype, Capella Space, SoundHouse LLC, Andela, and Spark Capital. John has also worked as an Applied Physics Researcher at Stanford University.

John has always been driven by their curiosity and a desire to make an impact. John co-founded Standard Metrics because they saw an opportunity to use data to improve people's lives. The company's mission is to make it easy for everyone to live a healthier life by providing access to data that was previously only available to research institutions and large companies.

John is a firm believer in the power of data and technology to improve people's lives. John is passionate about building products that are easy to use and make a difference in people's lives.

John Melas-Kyriazi's educational career began at The Roxbury Latin School, where they graduated with honors in engineering physics. John then attended Stanford University for their undergraduate and graduate studies, earning a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering and an M.S. in the same field. John was a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University before dropping out to pursue other interests.
