Brian Roberts

Brian Roberts is an experienced engineering professional with a background in tool design and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Tool Design Engineer at Standard Motor Products since October 2022, Brian previously worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation from April 2021 to October 2022. Brian started in the engineering field as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Leviton from November 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, Brian gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Stony Brook University, focusing on fracture toughness testing in carbon nanotube/epoxy nanocomposites. Brian also completed internships at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, working on additive manufacturing, and at the Composite Prototyping Center, where CATIA v5 CAD software was utilized for designing tooling concepts. Brian earned a degree from Stony Brook University from 2017 to 2021.
