Lynda Cabrales, PhD, MBA has extensive work experience in the field of research and development, with a focus on new product development, process innovation, and team leadership. Lynda has held various senior-level positions in reputable companies such as Standard Process Inc., Patina Solutions, Richelieu Foods, McCain Foods, Kraft Foods, Kellogg Co, Archer Daniels Midland Company, and Monsanto Company.

In their most recent role as Director of Engineering & Tech Services at Standard Process Inc., they have been responsible for overseeing the engineering and technical services departments. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at the same company.

Before joining Standard Process Inc., Lynda worked as an Interim Director of R&D at Patina Solutions, where they worked with a privately owned food manufacturer and its subsidiary. Lynda was responsible for executing key projects, addressing open executive positions, and developing talent.

As the Vice President of Research & Development at Richelieu Foods, Lynda played a crucial role in implementing agile product development, acquiring major customers, and increasing organizational agility.

Lynda began their career at Kellogg Co as an Engineer Co-op, where they developed innovative processes, provided engineering support, and managed projects. Lynda also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the National Science Foundation & Virginia Tech.

Prior to that, they had internship experiences at Archer Daniels Midland Company and Monsanto Company, where they gained valuable industry knowledge and practical skills.

Lynda obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering with a focus on Food & Bioprocess from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1998. Continuing their academic journey, they went on to complete their Master of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering, specializing in Food & Bioprocess, from the same institution in 2002. Building upon their expertise in the field, they pursued a PhD in Agricultural Engineering with a concentration in Food & Bioprocess, which they successfully completed in 2006.
