Cherie Preece has a diverse range of work experience. Cherie started their career at Preece Photography in 1998, where they worked as a Graphic Designer, Photographer, and Videographer. Cherie was responsible for graphic design, photography, and video production for various events and projects. Cherie also handled magazine and website design for Utah Dream Weddings. In 2012, they joined Standard Restaurant Supply as a Marketing Director, where they worked on marketing strategies, creative design, and retail ads. Cherie then moved on to Renting Authority in 2015, where they worked as a Marketing/Customer Service Manager, overseeing operations, managing schedules, and handling marketing efforts. In 2017, they joined KSTU Fox 13 TV as an Account Executive, focusing on building relationships and helping others succeed. Prior to these roles, Cherie also worked in the service industry as a Server Lead, Opener/Closer, and Bar Back at various restaurants. Cherie was also the Head Designer and Marketing at Utah Dream Weddings from 2005 to 2008.

Cherie Preece completed their education from 2001 to 2005 at Salt Lake Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Design and Visual Communications, General. Additionally, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Design and Visual Communications from the same institution between 2003 and 2005.
