Syed Zaidy

Syed Zaidy, Ph.D., is a seasoned textile chemist with extensive experience in research and development within the textile industry. Currently serving as a Senior Textile Chemist at Standard Textile since May 2023, Zaidy previously held similar positions at Sciessent and Coats, as well as roles as a Research Scientist at Coats and an Advanced Development Chemist at Polartec. Zaidy's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science from North Carolina State University, a Master's in Environmental Engineering from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor's in Textile Chemistry from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Notably, Zaidy's research has focused on eco-friendly dyeing techniques, and Zaidy has contributed to advancements in industrial sustainability through academic teaching and collaborative projects.
