Cameron Johnson

Cameron Johnson, FSA, CERA, has extensive experience in the actuarial field, currently serving as an Actuary in Actuarial Transformation at The Standard since May 2017. In this role, Cameron focuses on improving and automating actuarial processes using modern tools such as Databricks, Python, and Power BI while providing internal consulting across various lines of business. Previous positions at The Standard include Actuarial Associate roles focused on retirement plans and employee benefits, where responsibilities encompassed stable value rate setting, cash flow forecasting, and profitability analysis. Cameron's foundational experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at BYU Department of Statistics, providing tutoring on various statistical topics, and completing internships at The Standard and SEH America, where skills in individual disability insurance and VBA programming were developed. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Brigham Young University.
