Derek Dansby

Derek Dansby currently serves as the Director of Support Services at The Standard since May 2023. Prior to this role, Derek held multiple leadership positions at USAA from April 2014 to July 2023, including Director of Third Party Relationship Management, where responsibilities encompassed enabling third-party risk management strategies and enhancing operational efficiency within a multibillion-dollar automotive claims portfolio. Other roles at USAA included Director of Third-Party Data and Analytics and Director of Supply Chain Management, focusing on procurement, risk management, and relationship optimization. Derek's earlier experience includes serving as a Procurement Analyst for the U.S. Army Contracting Command and various contracting officer roles in the United States Air Force. Derek holds an MBA in Acquisition and Contract Management from American Graduate University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Park University.
