Jim Russell

Jim Russell has over 30 years of experience in the employee benefits field, currently serving as the Employee Benefits Manager at The Standard since January 1997, where management of a sales team focuses on distributing Group products to brokers and policyholders in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. Prior to this role, Jim Russell worked as an Employee Benefits Consultant, specializing in the sale and retention of Group Life, Disability, and Dental business in the same territories. Jim's career began at UNUM as a Sales Representative from June 1993 to December 1996, where responsibilities included selling and retaining Individual Disability business in New York and Massachusetts. Jim Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Colgate University, completed in 1993.
