Sandeep Akepati

Sandeep Akepati is a seasoned professional in data product technology and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Data Product Technology at The Standard since May 2021, where innovative architecture and operational support for strategic data products are developed. Prior to this role, Sandeep was the Head of Engineering for Actuarial and Investments, focusing on modern data architectures. With experience at TIAA from July 2012 to December 2020 as Director and Head of Data Engineering, as well as Development Manager, Sandeep contributed to enterprise data integration initiatives. Previous experience includes a position as Managing Consultant at IBM GBS from January 2004 to August 2012, specializing in advanced analytics optimization and strategy. Educational credentials include an M.B.A. in Global Business from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Wright State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
