Zaur Akhriev, CAIA, CFA, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Investments at The Standard, where responsibilities include providing strategic direction to the portfolio management team, focusing on credit risk, diversification, and interest rate management. With over 15 years of experience in the investment field, Zaur has managed a bond portfolio exceeding $6 billion and has been instrumental in high-level asset allocation decision-making. Prior to this role, Zaur held positions as Sr. Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst at The Standard, as well as Research Analyst at CTC Consulting, Inc., specializing in assessing various investment strategies. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Oregon and a BA in Finance and ISQA from Portland State University.
