Gus Duran

Gus Duran is a seasoned professional in information security, currently serving as the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at StandardAero since May 2024. Previously held the role of Chief Information Security Officer at the City of Plano from January 2021 to May 2024 and served as IT Security Engineer Principal at DynCorp International from July 2016 to January 2021, where responsibilities included managing information security tools and conducting vulnerability assessments. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as an Information Technology Engineer at Aviall, a Boeing Company, and leading the NCR Network Security Services Team at NCR Corporation from August 2011 to July 2016. Gus Duran holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Cyber Security from Boston University and is an Accredited Configuration Engineer in Firewall Management from Palo Alto Networks.
