Kushan Wickramarachchi

Kushan Wickramarachchi is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in project and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as a Shop Assistant at Unity Aviation Canada Ltd since June 2024, Kushan previously held multiple engineering roles at Standen's from May 2021 to April 2024, where responsibilities included managing the production of prototype drawbars and e-shanks using advanced tooling and manufacturing processes, contributing significant cost savings and emissions reductions through automation projects. Prior to that, Kushan gained foundational experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Standen's, conducting time studies and creating models in SolidWorks. Early academic involvement included work on various sub-teams in Schulich Aerodesign, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Manufacturing from the University of Calgary.
