Luigi Marras

Luigi Marras has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Luigi is currently working at Standex International as the Head of Technology - Solare since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the CTO & Partner at Fly Solartech Solutions srl starting from September 2019. Luigi also worked as an Advisor from September 2021 to December 2022 at an undisclosed company. Between September 2019 and September 2021, Luigi held the position of CTO at COOLBACK Company. Before that, they worked at Coveme for several years, serving as Chief Technology Officer, Head of R&D and Innovation, and Products and Markets Innovation Manager. Luigi gained experience as the Head of Scientific and Technical Area at IBS - International Biomedical Systems from September 2009 to June 2011. Luigi also co-founded Genefinity Srl and held various roles at IBS International Biomedical Systems, VITO - Flemish institute for technological research, and Metalpack Srl earlier in their career.

Luigi Marras has a diverse education history. Luigi completed their Executive Master in Technology and Innovation Management (EMTIM) from Alma Graduate School in 2010-2011, specializing in Business Management and Innovation. Prior to that, they pursued a PhD in Nanotechnology at the Università degli Studi di Trieste from 2004 to 2006. In 2004, Luigi also obtained a Master's degree in Microtechnology from CSEM - IMT Neuchatel. Additionally, they worked as a Visiting Scientist in the Materials Department at Oxford University in 2003, focusing on Innovative Materials and treatments.
