Ross Thompson

Ross Thompson has extensive work experience in human resources and related fields. Ross currently holds the role of Director of Total Rewards & HRIS at Standex International starting from February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at QIAGEN as the Head of Global Compensation & Benefits from October 2019 to February 2022, and as the Director of HR Operations Americas from August 2015 to October 2019. Before joining QIAGEN, Ross was the Global Services Human Resources Manager at The Boston Consulting Group from August 2013 to August 2015. Ross also worked at QIAGEN as a Senior Human Resources Manager from December 2001 to August 2013. Ross started their career as a Human Resources Consultant at US Airways from 1999 to 2001 and prior to that, they worked as a Legal Recruiter at Latham & Watkins from June 1994 to 1999.

Ross Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from American University - Kogod School of Business, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Ross later pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1999 to 2000. In September 2020, Ross obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI.
