Seong-Hyeuk Nam

Seong-Hyeuk Nam has an extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology. Seong-Hyeuk began their career in 2008 as a Research Student at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB). Seong-Hyeuk then moved on to a PostDoc position at KRIBB in 2012. After that, they joined SAMSUNG SDS as a Senior Researcher. In 2015, they became a Principal Researcher at SD Genomics. In 2020, they were appointed as Director at Genoplan. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as Principal Scientist at Standigm.

Seong-Hyeuk Nam obtained their BS in MIS from Chungbuk National University between 1999 and 2006. Seong-Hyeuk then went on to get their MS in Bioinformatics from the same university between 2006 and 2008. Finally, they earned their Ph.D in Functional genomics from the University of Science and Technology in Korea between 2008 and 2010.
