Frédéric Pâques

Frédéric Pâques has extensive work experience in various leadership and scientific roles. Frédéric is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Standing Ovation since June 2020 and May 2021, respectively. Prior to that, they held several positions at Global Bioenergies, including Chief Executive Officer of Syngip from May 2018 to June 2020, Chief Operating Officer from January 2015 to June 2020, and Chief Technology Officer from July 2013 to December 2014. Frédéric also served as the Chief Scientific Officer of Cellectis from June 2002 to March 2012, and as a Member of the Scientific Advisory Board from March 2012 to March 2014. Frédéric started their career as a Project Leader at Cellectis from November 2001 to June 2002. Frédéric has also worked as an Invited Scientist at the Laboratoire d'Ingénierie des Systèmes de Biologiques et des Procédés (LISBP) from October 2012 to June 2013, and as a Chargé de Recherche at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique from December 1999 to November 2001. Frédéric began their professional journey as a Research Fellow at Brandeis University from January 1995 to December 1998.

Frédéric Pâques began their education in 1986 at Ecole normale supérieure, where they studied Biology. Frédéric attended this institution until 1990, although no specific degree was mentioned. From 1989 to 1994, Pâques pursued their education at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI), focusing on Molecular Genetics and completing a Thesis.
