Marcus Alexander

Marcus Alexander has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Marcus started their career as a Sales Representative at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where they successfully sold newspaper subscriptions. Marcus then transitioned to a Customer Service Specialist at Global Connection Inc. of America, where they handled customer inquiries and assisted with marketing responsibilities. At The Container Store, Marcus worked as a Visual Merchandiser, providing sales assistance to customers and managing merchandise processing and delivery. Marcus then took on the role of Tax Preparer, where they filed various types of tax returns and continuously researched tax laws.

Moving forward, Marcus joined StandUp Wireless, initially as a Recycle A Phone - Buying/Store Manager, where they appraised cellular devices and negotiated purchasing prices. Marcus then became an Operations Manager, responsible for training modules and compliance processes. Marcus also served as a Wireless Network Manager, managing relationships with multiple service and operating system providers. As a Product Manager, they led new initiative launches and effectively communicated with stakeholders and leadership team. In their most recent role as a Senior OSS/BSS Application Manager, Marcus monitored operations, implemented policies to improve workflows, and managed the relationship between billing systems and the enrollment platform. Currently, Marcus is serving as the Director of IT Systems and Support at StandUp Wireless, coordinating IT strategy, ensuring systems remain operational and optimized, and managing systems access across the company.

Marcus Alexander pursued their education at Georgia State University from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in International Business. During their time at Georgia State University, their degree focused on the Spanish language. In 2010, they also had the opportunity to study Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Guadalajara.
