Kartik Garimella

Kartik Garimella has a strong background in IT and data engineering. Kartik started their career as a Graduate Assistant at Southern Illinois University, where they worked as a Systems/Network Administrator. Kartik then moved on to Siemens IT Solutions and Services as an IT Consultant, where they specialized in databases and business intelligence, working with clients such as Nike and Jackson Hewitt. After that, they joined www.Legalzoom.com as a Lead Data Engineer, where they built the company's Data Warehouse infrastructure and delivered enterprise dashboards to the executive team. Currently, Kartik is the Senior Director of IT at The Wine Group, where they are responsible for CRM, Data Engineering, Reporting, Analytics, and Data Security. Kartik has also held previous roles at The Wine Group, including IT Director - Data Engineering and IT Manager. Throughout their career, Kartik has been involved in a variety of projects, such as building survey apps, web scraping, and creating ETL pipelines.

Kartik Garimella holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they pursued from 2021 to 2022. During their MBA, they focused on Digital Marketing and Business Analytics. Prior to their MBA, Kartik obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, from 2007 to 2008. Kartik also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Royal College Of Engineering (JNTU), which they completed from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kartik Garimella has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in April 2023.
