Sylvia Espinoza

Sylvia Espinoza serves as the Associate Medical Director at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford since September 2017, focusing on Bay Area general pediatric practices. Previously, Sylvia held the position of Medical Director at the Sequoia Teen Wellness Center and was a Pediatrician at SMMC Pediatric Clinic from September 2001 to August 2017. Committed to pediatric health, Sylvia also contributed as a Medical Staff-At Large Member and Chair of the Department of Primary Care during that tenure. Educational qualifications include a Health Care Leadership Fellowship from the University of California, San Francisco, an Adolescent Medicine Specialist degree from Stanford University, a Pediatrics Residency Program at the University of Illinois Chicago, and an M.D. from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
