Amanda Pease

Amanda Pease serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Santa Clara Swim Club and has held the position of Spanish Medical Interpreter at Stanford Health Care since March 2022. Additionally, Amanda is an Adjunct Faculty Member at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, contributing to the Spanish Community Interpreting Certificate Program since January 2017. With a long tenure at FDB (First Databank, Inc.) since July 2009, Amanda works as a Localization Supervisor and Spanish Translator, focusing on translating patient education materials and overseeing the localization of professional content in Canadian French. Amanda has been providing freelance conference interpreting and translation services since May 2004 and has previously served as Contributing Faculty for the Translation and Interpretation Program at The National Hispanic University, as well as working as a Spanish Interpreter/Translator at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Amanda earned an MA in Translation and Interpretation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey between 2004 and 2006.
