Megan Atashroo

Director, Advanced Practice Cardiovascular Health at Stanford Health Care

Megan Atashroo is currently the Director of Advanced Practice Cardiovascular Health at Stanford Health Care. Megan has been in this role since November 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Registered Nurse at Kaiser Permanente from July 2013 to November 2013. From August 2012 to June 2013, they owned and operated Teddy's Town, an in-home dog boarding business. Megan has also worked as a Staff Nurse at the University of Kentucky from December 2011 to June 2013 and at the University of Missouri from June 2010 to September 2011. From October 2013 to March 2014, they worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Peak Health Solutions.

Megan Atashroo received their Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Megan then went on to receive their Master's in Science of Nursing with a focus in Family Practice Nurse/Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia as well. Megan is also certified as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition, Megan Atashroo is certified by the Kentucky Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and has Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support certifications. Megan also holds a certification from the University of Missouri as a Certified Cardiac Educator.
