Michael Saunders BSN, RN, CCRN is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in critical care nursing. Currently employed at Stanford Health Care since June 2020, Michael holds the position of Clinical Nurse II in both Pre/Post Anesthesia and Surgical/Trauma/Liver Transplant ICU. Previously, Michael contributed as an RN II in the Intensive Care Unit at Regional Medical Center of San Jose, working with cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients, and as an RN I in a Med/Surg Telemetry Unit. Michael began the nursing career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at various facilities, including Aspen Skilled Healthcare, Inc. and Linda Mar Rehabilitation, where skills in patient-centered care and interdisciplinary teamwork were developed. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Francisco State University.
