Mouna Bahsoun, DNP, IHI Fellow, MSHCQ, RN, CPPS, CPHQ, currently serves as the Executive Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Stanford Health Care since April 2024 and as the owner of the Nursing Leadership Advancement Initiative, an organization focused on empowering nurses worldwide. Mouna Bahsoun has held various roles in healthcare, including Nurse Excellence Director at Intermountain Health and faculty at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). Previous experiences include serving as a Quality Management Coordinator for the Qatar National Patient Safety Collaborative and Charge Nurse at Al Ahli Hospital. Mouna Bahsoun's education includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Duke University, along with a Master’s in Health Sciences of Health Care Quality from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lebanese University.
