Jackie H. has extensive experience in the field of lighting design, starting with their role as a Lighting Designer/Engineer at Marion, Cerbatos & Tomasi Inc. from 1990 to 1992. Jackie then worked as a Lighting Designer/Stage Manager at Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America, Inc. in 1993. From 1993 to 1994, Jackie served as a Lighting Designer/Engineer at Flack & Kurtz Consulting Engineers. Jackie then joined Luminae Souter Lighting Design as a Lighting Designer from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they worked as a Principal/Senior Lighting Designer at Radiance Lighting Design from 1998 to 2000. Currently, Jackie holds the position of Director of Lighting Design at Stanford Hotels Corporation, which they have been in since 2000. In this role, they focus on integrating cutting-edge lighting technology with control strategies to create unique lighting scenes and improve energy efficiency. Jackie also designs bespoke lighting fixtures that enhance the interior design and architecture of each project.

Jackie H. has a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree in Lighting Design from The Pennsylvania State University. In 1996, they obtained a Certificate of Technical Knowledge (TKE) from the Illuminating Engineering Society and became a Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP) through the Association of Energy Engineers. Additionally, in 2009, Jackie obtained the Lighting Certified (LC) credential from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions. In 2014, they acquired the LEED Green Associate certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
