Akash Kumar M.D.

Akash Kumar MD, PhD is a co-founder of MyOme, where the mission focuses on making genomic information accessible in clinical settings. Currently serving as an adjunct instructor in clinical medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, Akash Kumar also completed a residency in pediatrics and medical genetics at Stanford University from June 2016 to July 2020. The academic journey includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree obtained from the University of Washington and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics, also from the University of Washington, where research emphasized next-generation sequencing to study prostate cancer and glioblastoma. Akash Kumar holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Stanford University.
