Andy Miller

Andy Miller, PhD, is the Chief Information Officer for the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford University, a position they have held since 2022. Previously, Andy served as the Interim Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice President for Information Technology at California State University, Chico, from 2011 to 2022, and held roles including Associate Chief Information Officer and Senior Director of Enterprise Applications and Data Services. Andy’s earlier experience includes serving as the Director of IT Systems at Butte College and as an Information Systems Designer/Developer II. They earned a PhD in Technology Management from Indiana State University and hold a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from California State University, Chico.
