Charlotte Pera

Charlotte Pera is an accomplished leader in sustainability and environmental initiatives, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Sustainability Accelerator at Stanford University since July 2024. Prior to this role, Charlotte held the position of Vice President and Deputy CEO at the Bezos Earth Fund from May 2021 to January 2024 and was the President and CEO of ClimateWorks Foundation from October 2012 to May 2021. Earlier in Charlotte's career, significant contributions were made as Senior Vice President at the U.S. Energy Foundation from 1999 to 2012 and as an Engineer and Project Manager at Acurex Environmental from 1991 to 1999. Academic credentials include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from Stanford University between 1985 and 1991.
