Chidyaonga Shalita

Chidyaonga Shalita is currently a Vascular Surgery Resident at Stanford University and a Feagin Scholar in the Feagin Leadership Program, where participation includes leadership training and collaboration on projects aimed at improving access to mental health resources. Previous experience encompasses a Medical Student role at Duke University School of Medicine, with significant research focusing on minimally invasive spine surgery and opioid use, as well as mental health support work at Rise, Inc. and project management at Epic. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Health Sciences & Clinical Research from Duke University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Macalester College. Chidyaonga has also engaged in community outreach and research projects supporting vulnerable populations throughout the Twin Cities.
