Ganesh Karkala

Ganesh Karkala is an experienced technology and administrative systems professional currently serving as Associate Vice President of Administrative Systems at Stanford University since September 2006. In this role, Ganesh manages a large organization overseeing the development, operation, and support of major enterprise applications such as Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft Student Administration, and PeopleSoft Human Resources, while also directing the computing services division. Prior to Stanford, Ganesh held the position of Executive Director at Oracle Corporation from August 1996 to September 2006, where responsibilities included senior leadership in administrative systems. Ganesh Karkala holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Technology from the University of Mysore.
