Ge Wang is an Associate Professor at Stanford University, where Ge has served since September 2007, having previously held the position of Assistant Professor. Wang co-founded Smule, a company where Ge worked as Chief Creative from 2008 to 2013. Prior to this, Wang was a graduate student at Princeton University from 2001 to 2007 and also held a visiting faculty position at Dartmouth College for a brief period in 2006. Early career experience includes roles as a Software Engineer/Instructor at Adrenaline Group and as a Lead Software Developer at BuyIQ, as well as internships at Microsoft. Wang holds a PhD in Computer Science (Computer Music) from Princeton University and a B.S. in Computer Science (also Music) from Duke University.
