Jacob Bryan

Jacob Bryan is a dedicated researcher currently pursuing a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, under the guidance of Professor Shan X. Wang as a PhD Researcher since January 2024. Previously, Jacob served as a Research Associate at Magnetic Insight, Inc, where significant contributions were made in the research and development of novel pharmaceutical products. Experience in pre-clinical imaging was gained at Berkeley Imaging Systems Laboratory, leading projects on synthesizing magnetic tracers for Magnetic Particle Imaging. Jacob has a strong foundation in bioengineering, having completed a Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and holding various instructional roles, including as a Teaching Assistant and course instructor. Jacob's early research experience includes work at Tufts University, focusing on enzyme promiscuity, as well as hands-on projects in genetics and tutoring roles across various educational settings.
