Katie Liu

Katie Liu is a CURIS Fellow at Stanford University Department of Computer Science, focusing on biofeedback research within the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) group. Concurrently, Liu serves as a Teaching Assistant for multiple computer science courses and holds the position of Vice President of Operations for Stanford Women in Computer Science, where responsibilities include corporate outreach and financial management for organizational subteams. Previous roles encompass directing finance and sponsorship at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence, contributing to AR-enhanced learning research, and serving as an Algorithms Intern at Gense Technologies. Liu's earlier experience includes a Data Science internship at ZOLL Medical Corporation and R&D at Stanford's School of Medicine, specializing in computer vision. Liu is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on AI, following a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Music from Stanford University, where Liu graduated as Valedictorian from Montour High School.
